Bernice have been laying low. The Toronto pop experimentalists have been doing shows, and in October they did a special, Monsters, Inc.-themed release. Now they’re back with another holiday gift: A song called “Poisson Noël.”
On Instagram, the band wrote, “emerging from newborn life to share our winter song of 2025: poisson noël, recorded at home by bernice trio, with lyrics by phil, about a holiday mackerel riding his joyful hammer across the waves, in the glow of the evening boat lights. we love you! link in bio or google bernice bandcamp poisson.”
