‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Camilla Luddington Reacts to “Horrifying” Season 22 Fall Finale
Grey’s Anatomy fans may need some supplemental oxygen after the stress of its midseason premiere.
After the medical drama’s season 22 fall finale left off with the fate of Camilla Luddington’s Dr. Jo Wilson up in the air following the emergency c-section of her twins, the midseason premiere kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very end of the Jan. 8 episode.
Indeed, things are not well at Grey Sloan Memorial—for Jo’s husband Dr. Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack) in particular—when the show picks back up following the cliffhanger in the last episode. Although Jo is alive, she is still in a coma on ventilator and their baby girls—nicknamed Baby A and Baby B—are also in critical condition.
The somber tone continued throughout the episode, with Link even visiting the hospital chapel, an infamous Hail Mary play by Grey’s Anatomy characters throughout the series. However, Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) comforted Link through his difficult moment in a heartfelt scene.
