DGP,
special
DGP
cybercrime,
and
Jalandhar
police
commissioner,
have
now
requested
10
days
to
submit
their
replies.

Delhi
Assembly’s
Concerns
Over
Video
Clip

Gupta
criticised
the
use
of
the
video
clip,
which
belongs
to
the
Delhi
Assembly.
He
described
the
FIR
registration
by
Punjab
Police
as
“unfortunate,” saying
it
undermines

House’s
dignity.
The
clip
was
used
by
Delhi
Law
Minister
Kapil
Mishra
and
several
BJP
MLAs.
They
alleged
that
Atishi
insulted
Guru
Tegh
Bahadur
during
a
debate
in
the
Assembly
last
Tuesday.

The

of
a
programme
held
last
November
to
commemorate
the
350th
martyrdom
anniversary
of
the
ninth
Sikh
Guru.
The
Jalandhar
Police
Commissionerate
registered
an
FIR
against
Mishra
and
others
for
circulating
an
“edited
and
doctored” video
of
Atishi.

Assembly
Seeks
Evidence
from
Punjab
Police

The
Delhi
Assembly
has
requested
all
related
documents
and
forensic
reports
from
Punjab
Police.
These
documents
are
needed
to
substantiate
claims
that
the
video
was
altered.
Gupta
also
criticised
the
AAP
government
in
Punjab
for
allegedly
“misusing”
state
police
resources.

Further
actions
against
the
Punjab
Police
officers
will
be
determined
after
their
responses
are
received.
Gupta
emphasised
that
