Stars are getting ready for a golden evening.
Indeed, Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman unveiled the 2026 Oscar nominees on Jan. 22 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
It’s been a winning award season for Paul Thomas Anderson‘s One Battle After Another—and may just take home more gold at the March 15 ceremony. The film is expected to be among the most nominated at the 98th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Best Actor in a Leading Role and Teyana Taylor‘s Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Sinners is also ready to sink its teeth into the competition, as the Ryan Coogler-directed film is expected to be nominated in Best Picture, Michael B. Jordan in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category, as well as Best Directing.
Meanwhile, Marty Supreme may be turning in table tennis paddles for some sparkling trophies. Like this award season, the film may find itself competing for Best Picture and Original Screenplay. And Timothée Chalamet is also ready to go head-to-head in the Best Actor category for his role.
