IIT Roorkee’s E-Summit 2026: Startup Leaders, Power Workshops and Live Innovation from Feb 6–8

Date:

IIT Roorkee is preparing for E-Summit ’26, a three-day entrepreneurship festival scheduled from 6th to 8th February 2026. Organised by the Entrepreneurship Cell, the event is themed “Transcending the Paradigm” and is designed to blend learning, networking, and startup activity for students, professionals, and early-stage founders.

The summit is positioned as a national platform for emerging entrepreneurs and startup enthusiasts. It aims to support idea-stage and early-stage projects through exposure to investors, mentors, and industry specialists. Participants are expected from engineering institutes, business schools, startup communities, and corporate circles across India, with a strong focus on practical learning and peer exchange.

E-Summit ’26 IIT Roorkee entrepreneurship speakers and startup ecosystem

Confirmed speakers include Mohit Yadav of Minimalist, Mohit Saxena of InMobi, Neelu Khatri of Akasa Air, Sandeep Jain of GeeksforGeeks, Acharya Prashant, and Prashant Kirad of Next Toppers, along with several other experienced entrepreneurs and professionals.

Through fire-side chats, keynotes, and interactive conversations, these speakers are expected to discuss leadership choices, product roadmaps, and funding decisions. Sessions will trace startup journeys, highlight challenges of scaling in India’s evolving market, and explore the intersection of technology, consumer behaviour, and regulation. Attendees will hear first-hand accounts of building teams, brands, and resilient business models.

E-Summit ’26 IIT Roorkee entrepreneurship events, competitions and campus experience

Beyond talks, the festival will feature multiple competitions that test problem-solving and innovation under time pressure. On-spot contests will encourage participants to pitch ideas, design solutions, and analyse business cases. Winning teams may gain visibility among investors and mentors present on campus, making these contests important entry points for young startups.

The experience is planned as a complete campus festival, with serious learning balanced by leisure activities. Attendees can visit startup exhibitions, explore internship opportunities with participating ventures, and build networks with founders, venture capitalists, and peers. The programme will also include a food carnival, a comedy show, and DJ nights to keep engagement high across the three days.

E-Summit ’26 IIT Roorkee entrepreneurship workshops and corporate collaborations

Hands-on workshops form another core part of E-Summit ’26, created in partnership with established organisations. These sessions will focus on skills needed in modern startups, from technology stacks to people strategy. Each workshop is structured to provide applicable knowledge, case-led discussions, and certificates that may enhance participants’ professional profiles.

The workshop series will cover themes such as startup infrastructure, analytics, product and design thinking, supply chain, consulting, and drone technology. Sessions will be conducted with collaborators including Google, AWS, Myntra, Microsoft Azure, TVF, CRED, the National University of Singapore, District by Zomato, Odoo, Blue Dart–DHL, Faradic, and Grant Thornton, among others on the schedule.
