Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that Chinmaya Mission stands as a living tradition that has remained rooted in timeless values while continuously responding to the evolving needs of society, making it deeply relevant even after seventy-five years of service.

Speaking at the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of Chinmaya Mission, he said completing 75 years was not merely a measure of time but a reflection of the institution’s enduring relevance and moral strength.

Reflecting on the life and teachings of Swami Chinmayananda, he said Gurudev viewed spirituality not as withdrawal from the world but as preparation for responsible participation in it.

“Development without values is incomplete, growth without compassion is unstable, and progress without inclusion is fragile,” he observed, underlining the irreplaceable role of institutions like Chinmaya Mission in nurturing character alongside competence.

Referring to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka said it emphasises selfless action, duty without attachment and leadership guided by wisdom — principles that translate in modern terms to ethical leadership, social responsibility and public service.
