Chase Infiniti is sharing the words of wisdom Elisabeth Moss shared with her ahead of the release of The Testaments, the new sequel series to The Handmaid’s Tale.
Infiniti, 25, recently caught up with PEOPLE in an exclusive interview at the National Board of Review Gala in New York City. During the conversation, she revealed that she and Moss, 43, met while she filmed the new show, and that Moss was nothing but encouraging.
“I actually didn’t get to meet Elisabeth Moss really until the end [of filming],” Infiniti said. “But she kind of immediately after I met her, like, wrapped me into a big hug and was kind of like, ‘You got this. You got this. Okay? You got it.’ ”
The Testaments, which will premiere on Hulu in April, is set 15 years after the events of the original series and is based on the book of the same name by Margaret Atwood.

Infiniti plays Agnes (formerly Hannah), Moss’ eldest daughter in The Handmaid’s Tale, who was abducted to be raised by others. At the end of the original series, Agnes is living in the dystopian authoritarian state of Gilead, where she will seemingly continue to become indoctrinated into its dangerous and oppressive systems.
When we first meet Agnes in the new series, she is wrestling with her identity and questions of her true background.
The new series will focus on a new generation of young women growing up in Gilead, “grappling with the bleak future that awaits them,” series creator Bruce Miller told Variety in May.
”We tried not to make the same show — it’s got younger voices, it’s got a completely different feel and a completely different vibe but it’s still Gilead,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in April.

“So I hope that the continuing threads continue to interest people while the new stuff is exciting,” he added.
In addition to Infiniti, the show will also star Lucy Halliday and Rowan Blanchard. Ann Dowd will be reprising her role as Aunt Lydia.
The Testaments premieres in April on Hulu.
