Dearness Allowance for judges, judicial officials raised to 58% in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a Dearness Allowance (DA) hike for serving and retired members of the judiciary.

Minister for Law and Justice N. Md. Farooq said on Thursday that the Law Department issued orders raising the DA for High Court judges, judicial officers, retired judges, pensioners, and family pensioners to 58% from the existing 55%. The decision followed a communication from the Law Ministry, the Minister said in a release. The revised DA rate would be effective from July 1, 2025, he added.
