Two bodies found on railway track in Andhra’s Annamayya district

Two bodies were found on a parallel railway track on the outskirts of Kalikiri station in Annamayya district in the early hours of Thursday (December 4). According to the Madanapalle railway police, the bodies were found by the loco pilot of Tirupati–Nagercoil Express, who alerted authorities. The police identified the deceased as Munikumar of Somala mandal in Chittoor district and Veerabadraiah of Kalikiri mandal. It is suspected that the duo were hit by a passing train around midnight while they were consuming liquor on the tracks. The bodies were shifted to the area hospital for postmortem examination. A case has been registered.
