Julia Cumming, frontwoman of CoSigned band Sunflower Bean, has announced her debut album, Julia. She’s also shared the lead single, “My Life,” which comes with a video directed by filmmaker Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver, and the recent The Running Man, which featured Cumming in a role).
Due April 24th via Partisan Records, Julia was recorded in LA with Brian Robert Jones (Paramore, Vampire Weekend), producer/engineer Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio). Cumming’s studio band included drummer Garrett Ray (Olivia Rodrigo, SIA), keyboardist Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (Beck), and Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ guitarist Nick Zinner on two tracks.
