Thunderstorm forecast in 22 Telangana districts on March 17

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning in 22 Telangana districts for Tuesday, March 17.

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkoda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar districts.

Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35 and 23 respectively,” the bulletin said.
