The new service combines MakeMyTrip’s travel marketplace and content with its GenAI Trip Planning Assistant, Myra. It also uses Mastercard’s artificial intelligence tools to shape recommendations and deals. The companies said the goal is to move past broad tips. Lifestyle Navigator is meant to deliver choices that match a user’s needs.

Lifestyle Navigator AI links travel planning and offers

Lifestyle Navigator includes curated input from specialists in food, culture, adventure, and retail. These insights cover key global destinations and are presented through an AI-led interface. The platform also suggests payment products that may help travellers save money. It aims to connect planning with spending benefits through selected offers and privileges.

MakeMyTrip Co-founder and Group CEO Rajesh Magow said, “Our AI-powered Trip Planning Assistant, Myra, has been developed to convert data-led insights into personalised experiences that are timely and relevant for each traveller. We are very happy to collaborate with Mastercard to power the trip planning experience with Lifestyle Navigator, to provide a smooth experience for our travellers,\”

Lifestyle Navigator AI supports trip discovery before and after travel

Mastercard president India and South Asia Gautam Aggarwal said the product combines discovery, planning, and experiences using AI. Aggarwal said, \”By pairing Mastercards global network of offers and privileges with MakeMyTrips deep travel expertise, we are harnessing AI and data intelligence in a way that is practical, trusted and deeply contextual – helping consumers make better decisions while enabling a more connected and intelligent travel ecosystem in India,\”

The interface also brings together Mastercard’s Priceless Experiences, partner offers, and premium content. It includes material from leading Indian and global travel influencers. The companies said the experience is driven by an LLM-based discovery layer. It is positioned as a companion for users across each stage of travel.

Mastercard also pointed to a broader economic backdrop for India. Mastercard Economics Institute’s Economic Outlook 2026 projected India leading major Asia-Pacific economies. The report linked this outlook to strong domestic demand and faster digitisation. The companies said the new platform aims to fit this shift in consumer behaviour.

Magow added that MakeMyTrip expects travellers to gain from the stronger planning tools. Mastercard and MakeMyTrip said the collaboration connects travel content, AI planning, and benefits in one system. The companies presented Lifestyle Navigator as a practical way to tailor trip choices. The service is intended to help users plan with clearer and more relevant options.
