Christian Pulisic is calling a foul on those Sydney Sweeney dating rumors.
The captain of the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team shot down speculation that he’s romantically involved with the Housemaid actress.
“Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life,” he wrote on his since-expired Instagram Stories Dec. 28.”Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives.”
Christian—who has reportedly been dating professional golfer Alexa Melton since last year—doubled down on the rumors about the Euphoria star holding no weight by also commenting underneath an Instagram post claiming that he’s “reportedly dating Sydney Sweeney,” saying, “Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumor.”
Meanwhile, Sydney has been romantically linked to Scooter Braun—who she’s been spotted out and about with several times this year—despite recently proclaiming that she isn’t attached to anyone.
“I’m single,” she told GQ in an interview published Nov. 4. “I don’t think I’m looking for a man right now. What I’ve learned this year is that I have a really, really amazing group of girlfriends and I am strong and independent and that I’m going to be OK.”
