Dropkick Murphys have revealed a new music video for their scorching anti-ICE anthem “Citizen I.C.E.” (feat. Haywire).
The video, rendered in black and white, depicts Dropkick Murphys and Haywire performing the track with heaps of energy and a flurry of moshers surrounding them. At the end of the video, frontman Ken Casey shouts out the bands speaking out against ICE and the Trump administration: “While a lot of the larger punk bands in the world aren’t speaking up and are choosing to stay silent, punk rock is actually meeting the moment. You got plenty of bands willing to say something, still willing to fight for what’s right,” Casey said, proceeding to name Haywire, the Aggrolites, Slugger, Dropkick Murphys, and Juicebox, all of which appear in the video.
