Consumer electronics company Elista has introduced a new range of Google TV models under the Xplore series, adding to the growing number of premium 4K smart televisions available to Indian buyers.
The launch includes three screen sizes — 85-inch (TDU85GA), 75-inch (TDU75GA) and 65-inch (TDU65GA). All variants feature 4K Ultra HD resolution, HDR10 support, Dolby Audio, dual-band Wi-Fi and built-in Chromecast. The televisions run on Google TV and support voice commands through the “Hey Google” feature.
The 65-inch model has been priced with a maximum retail price of ₹73,990. The 75-inch and 85-inch displays carry declared MRPs of ₹1,38,500 and ₹1,84,500 respectively. Prices in the market may vary depending on channel discounts and festive promotions.
The three models share similar specifications, including 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, three HDMI ports and access to major streaming applications. The company said the bezel-less design and the addition of voice search are intended to appeal to households that prefer large-screen televisions with integrated streaming capabilities.
Elista said the televisions are manufactured at its facility in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, which the company describes as an Industry 4.0-enabled plant. The company has also announced a ₹500 crore agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government for a second factory in Kopparthy, signalling plans to scale domestic production of televisions and monitors.
The launch comes at a time when India’s smart television segment is expanding rapidly, driven by wider broadband access and growing preference for large displays. Competition in the category includes global brands as well as domestic manufacturers focused on price-to-specifications value.
Elista’s products are currently sold through more than 20,000 retail outlets, according to the company. Besides India, its televisions and appliances are distributed across multiple overseas markets, including the UAE, CIS region and parts of Africa. The company recently entered the Tanzanian market.
