Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy laid the foundation stone for Pottepalem bridge in Nellore district on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sridhar Reddy said, “After I became MLA in 2014, I had promised the people to build a bridge on Pottepalem sluice. At that time, I was not in the ruling party. Later, I won again in 2019 and made the then Chief Minister to sanction the bridge. However, the funds were not released by the previous government.”
“Finally with the support of all political parties, we succeeded. The alliance government has sanctioned ₹5 crore for the construction of the bridge, and it will help not only the people of Nellore Rural constituency, but also the residents of Sarvepalli, Atmakur, Kovur and Udayagiri constituencies,” he added.
Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, and leaders of all other parties were present during the occasion.
