When it comes to her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Garcelle Beauvais isn’t looking back.
The actress, 59, caught up with PEOPLE at The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify’s Nominees Night ahead of the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. At the event in Los Angeles, she revealed if she’s interested in reconciling with her former Bravo costars, including once-close friend Sutton Stracke.
“I’m not looking for that, and I don’t think they are either. So it’s probably even,” she said, adding, “The past is the past.”
Beauvais also said she feels “fantastic” and “much lighter” since exiting the long-running reality series.
“It was a good thing, obviously,” she said of leaving the show after five seasons. “I love my life now. I love a little bit of privacy, and I love doing the projects that I’m doing, so it’s good. It’s nice not to have the camera in your face all the time. And my kids appreciate that too.”

Beauvais announced that she was departing RHOBH in a video shared on her Instagram account in March 2025. “I have some news: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills,” she said. “It’s been a wild ride, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened — but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
She went on to share that she was ending her RHOBH chapter to spend more time with her kids and focus on new work projects. She also teased, “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open. So you never know — I might pop back in sometime.”

Beauvais’ exit came on the same day that a trailer for RHOBH‘s season 14 reunion dropped. The clip showed the Black Girl Missing star storming off the reunion set and cursing out her costars. She was also filmed backstage saying, “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them. They’re all f—ing a–holes.”
Weeks later, Beauvais unfollowed all of her former costars on Instagram.

As season 15 of RHOBH kicked off on Dec. 4, Stracke, 54, revealed that the last time she saw Beauvais was at the reunion.
“She was walking out on me and everybody else,” she said. “I texted again and again and again. She did not text back.”
After costar Dorit Kemsley suggested during a group lunch that maybe Beauvais saw her bond with Stracke as more of “an alliance than a friendship,” Stracke got teary during a confessional and said she “loved Garcelle.”
“We were best friends,” she said. “I didn’t see her as just an ally. I just don’t like people to talk about her like that.”
During the lunch, Stracke told the women that “we will never know” what exactly upset Beauvais.
“She’s not speaking to me, she’s not speaking to you, she’s not speaking to you. So, we don’t know,” she said. “We can play the guessing game for eternity.”
