Gorillaz Announce Dates For First North American Tour in Four Years

Gorillaz are hitting the road this fall for their first extensive run of North American shows since 2022. The Live Nation-produced 22-date Mountain Tour is slated to kick off on Sept. 17 with a show at the Kia Center in Orlando, Fla., followed by gigs in Miami, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland and Portland before winding down on Oct. 31 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Wash.

The world’s most successful virtual band will by joined by Little Simz on the majority of the dates, with Deltron 3030 providing support on all the shows. The band formed by Blur’s Damon Albarn and longtime friend and artist Jamie Hewlett in 1998 just released their ninth studio album, The Mountain, yet another eclectic collection featuring a wide range of collaborators, including Indian legend Asha Bhosle, as well as the Roots’ Black Thought, former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, British sitar master Anoushka Shankar and Sparks, among many others.

Tickets for the tour will be available first through a KONG Card presale beginning on Wednesday (March 4) at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a Citi card presale beginning at 12 p.m. local time on Wednesday through 10 a.m. ET on Thursday (March 5); click here for Citi presale information. A Gorillaz Artist presale will open at 10 a.m. local on Friday (March 6), with fans encouraged to sign up here by 10 a.m. ET on Thursday (March 5) to participate. The general on-sale will begin on Monday (March 9) at 10 a.m. local time here.

Gorillaz will make their Saturday Night Live debut this weekend on the March 7 show hosted by Ryan Gosling.
