Vibhushan

for
the
award
this
year.

The
Padma
Vibhushan
is
conferred
for
“exceptional
and
distinguished
service” across
diverse
fields
such
as
public
affairs,

and

The
list
of
awardees
is
announced
on
Republic
Day,
while
the
formal
presentation
takes
place
at
Rashtrapati
Bhavan,
usually
in
March
or
April,
where
the
President
of
India
confers

honours.

Hyderabad-based
gastroenterologist

Chairman

Hospitals,

awarded

Padma
Vibhushan
