selected
for
the
Padma
Vibhushan
in
2025,
one
of
India’s
highest
civilian
honours,
in
recognition
of
his

is
among
seven
distinguished
individuals
chosen
for
the
award
this
year.

The
Padma
Vibhushan
is
conferred
for
“exceptional
and
distinguished
service” across
diverse
fields
such
as
public
affairs,
social
work,
art
and
healthcare.
The
list
of
awardees
is
announced
on
Republic
Day,
while
the
formal
presentation
takes
place
at
Rashtrapati
Bhavan,
usually
in
March
or
April,
where
the
President
of
India
confers
the
honours.

Dr
Reddy
currently
serves
as
the
Chairman
of
AIG
Hospitals,
Hyderabad,
where
he
has
played
a
leading
role
in
advancing
gastroenterology
and
patient
care
over
several
decades.
His
selection
for
the
Padma
Vibhushan
marks
the

in

of

recognition.
He
was
earlier
awarded
the
Padma
Shri
in
2002,
followed
by
the
Padma
Bhushan
in
2016,

his
