Jason Bateman Details “Negotiations” With Wife Amanda Anka Before He Got Sober
Let’s hope Jason Bateman’s daughter doesn’t have any arrested development after her dad’s life lesson.
After all, the Zootopia 2 actor recalled the unique descriptions he used last year to explain the baby-making process to his 14-year-old daughter Maple.
“I did ask her how that’s going [and] does she have any questions or is she all up to date,” Jason said on the Feb. 25 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, “‘cause I didn’t want to tell her anything that I don’t need to, you know.”
The 57-year-old added, “Maybe she sensed that this was an uncomfortable area for me. So, I think she played dumb and she’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m not positive on a bunch of stuff.’”
The DTF St. Louis star—also dad to daughter Francesca, 19, with wife Amanda Anka—expected Maple to cut him off at some point to say, “I got that part.” However, the teenager let her dad walk through every single bird and bee.
