The alumni meet of the JNTU-Kakinada students was held at the IIAM Institute in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. The event was attended by nearly 300 former students, including distinguished guests.
JNTU-K Vice-Chancellor Dr C. S. R. K. Prasad, JNTU Gurajada Vizianagaram Vice-Chancellor Dr V. V. Subba Rao, JNTU-K Principal Dr Mohan Rao, APPSC former chairman Dr P Uday Bhaskar, EPDCL Director T. Vanaja, RTC Regional Manager B. Appala Naidu were among those who attended.
Alumni from the 1965, 1975 and 1980 batches along with their families participated in the meet and photo session.
Speaking on the occasion Dr C. S. R. K. Prasad urged the alumni to contribute towards the development of the university and help it earn a place among the top 50 engineering colleges in the country.
