The
Karnataka
State
Road
Transport
Corporation
(KSRTC)
has
reduced
ticket
fares
on
select
premium
bus
services
by
5%
to
15%
for
a
limited
period,
offering
relief
to
passengers
travelling
during
the
low-demand
season.
The
fare
reduction
will
be
in
effect
from
January
to
March
and
applies
only
on
weekdays.
KSRTC
officials
said
the
decision
was
taken
in
view
of
reduced
passenger
traffic
during
these
months.
The
revised
fares
will
not
be
applicable
on
weekends.
The
Karnataka
State
Road
Transport
Corporation
(KSRTC)
has
decreased
ticket
fares
by
5%
to
15%
on
select
premium
bus
services
from
January
to
March,
applicable
on
weekdays,
in
Bengaluru,
Mysuru,
Mangaluru,
and
Davanagere
divisions.
This
reduction
also
applies
to
interstate
premium
bus
services
to
destinations
like
Tirupati,
Hyderabad,
and
Chennai,
with
specific
fare
adjustments
detailed
for
routes
like
Bengaluru-Kundapur
and
Bengaluru-Mumbai.
The
discount
covers
select
routes
operated
by
premium
bus
services
including
Volvo,
Ambari,
Club
Class,
Pallakki
Utsav,
Fly
Bus,
Rajahamsa,
Non-AC
Sleeper,
Airavat,
Airavat
Club
Class,
AC
Sleeper
and
Multi-Axle
AC
Sleeper
buses.
The
revised
fares
will
be
implemented
across
the
Bengaluru,
Mysuru,
Mangaluru
and
Davanagere
divisions.
KSRTC
has
also
reduced
fares
on
inter-state
premium
bus
services
operating
from
Bengaluru
to
major
destinations
such
as
Tirupati,
Hyderabad,
Puducherry,
Ooty
and
Chennai.
Among
the
notable
reductions
are
fares
for
Fly
Bus
services
connecting
Bengaluru
with
Kempegowda
International
Airport.
Ticket
prices
have
been
lowered
on
several
key
routes,
including
Bengaluru-Mangaluru,
Bengaluru-Kundapur,
Bengaluru-Udupi,
Bengaluru-Dharmasthala,
Bengaluru-Kukke
Subramanya,
Bengaluru-Puttur,
Bengaluru-Madikeri/Virajpet,
Bengaluru-Davanagere,
Bengaluru-Shivamogga/Sagar,
Bengaluru-Chennai,
Bengaluru-Hyderabad/Secunderabad,
Bengaluru-Tirupati,
Bengaluru-Mantralayam,
Bengaluru-Pune/Mumbai,
Bengaluru-Vijayawada,
Bengaluru-Ernakulam,
Bengaluru-Madurai,
Bengaluru-Coimbatore
and
Bengaluru-Thrissur.
As
per
the
revised
tariff,
the
Bengaluru
Airport-Kundapur
fare
has
been
reduced
from
₹2,300
to
₹2,000,
Bengaluru
Airport-Manipal
from
₹2,200
to
₹1,950,
and
Bengaluru
Airport-Mangaluru
from
₹2,140
to
₹1,850.
Similarly,
premium
bus
fares
from
Bengaluru
to
Shirdi
and
Mumbai
have
been
reduced
from
₹2,500
to
₹2,000,
while
the
Bengaluru-Pune
fare
has
been
cut
from
₹2,300
to
₹1,700.
The
fare
for
the
Bengaluru-Murudeshwar
Ambari
Utsav
service
has
been
reduced
from
₹1,900
to
₹1,700,
and
the
Ambari
Dream
Class
fare
has
been
lowered
from
₹1,800
to
₹1,500.
