Green Corridor project in Lucknow and Rs 1,519 crore plan

Adityanath said the Green Corridor took shape due to the vision of Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh. Adityanath said the corridor would bring down cross-city travel to 15 minutes. Adityanath said the same trip earlier took an hour.

Adityanath said Lucknow’s changes were clear to people arriving from India and abroad. Adityanath said visitors noticed improved cleanliness and new work in the capital. Adityanath said, “Today, anyone who comes to Lucknow, they say there is cleanliness, and something new has been done in the state capital,\”.

Green Corridor connectivity with Lucknow Metro, Kisan Path and ring routes

Adityanath said the corridor would add to other transport upgrades in Lucknow. Adityanath listed the Lucknow Metro expansion and outer ring corridors like Kisan Path. Adityanath said these projects would tighten links across the city and improve movement.

Adityanath repeated the state government’s target for a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2029-30. Adityanath said urbanisation and infrastructure would be key drivers. Adityanath described the Green Corridor as an example of careful resource use in city development.

Green Corridor phases, route details and resource management

Adityanath said the Lucknow Development Authority carried out the Rs 1,519 crore work without a separate budget. Adityanath said resources came after clearing encroachments from government land. Adityanath said funds were then generated through planned use of that land.

Adityanath said two phases were completed and inaugurated. Adityanath listed IIM Road to Pakka Pul, and Pakka Pul Daliganj to Samatamulak Chauraha. Adityanath said foundation stones were laid for Samatamulak Chauraha to Shaheed Path. Adityanath also cited Shaheed Path to Kisan Path.

Adityanath said the full Green Corridor was planned at about 28 km. Adityanath said it would link key areas of Lucknow. Adityanath said the corridor should ease traffic flow across the state capital. Adityanath said the combined projects aimed to support broader growth goals.
