three

Shah,
the
state’s
Tribal
Affairs
Minister,
announced
this
initiative
on
Tuesday.
The
aim
is
to
ensure
equal
access
to
quality
education
by
upgrading
infrastructure,
smart
classrooms,
laboratories,
and
libraries.

Education
Facilities
New
educational
institutions
like
Sandipani
schools,
Eklavya
schools,
Mata
Shabri
girls’
education
complexes,
and
boys’
model
residential
schools
will
be
established
in
each
tribal
development
block.
This
expansion
aims
to
provide
comprehensive
educational
facilities
for
tribal
communities
across
the
state.
In
addition
to
educational
improvements,
the
government
intends
to
upgrade
tribal
religious
and
worship
sites.
Art
centres
will
also
be
established
in
86
tribal
development
blocks.
These
centres
will
promote
social
and
cultural
activities
within
the
tribal
community,
fostering
a
sense
of
cultural
pride
and
continuity.
Promoting
Tribal
Culture
Shah
highlighted
that
Gond
painting
from
Dindori
district
has
been
awarded
a
Geographical
Indication
(GI)
tag.
Efforts
are
underway
to
secure
GI
tags
for
seven
other
products.
These
include
Bhil
tribes’
Gulshan
mala
and
Bolni,
Pithora
painting
style,
Jhabua
tribal
dolls,
and
musical
instruments
like
Bana
Chikara
and
wooden
mask
craft
of
the
Gond
tribe.
Cafeterias
are
being
built
at
locations
such
as
Pachmarhi,
Mandu,
Kanha-Kisli,
Pench,
and
Bandhavgarh.
These
will
be
similar
to
the
tribal
women
cafeteria
in
Kevadia,
Gujarat.
Operated
by
women
from
tribal
self-help
groups,
these
cafeterias
aim
to
provide
livelihood
opportunities
while
preserving
tribal
culture.
This
initiative
reflects
a
commitment
to
improving
educational
access
and
preserving
cultural
heritage
for
tribal
communities
in
Madhya
Pradesh.
By
enhancing
both
education
and
cultural
sites,
the
government
seeks
to
empower
these
communities
economically
and
socially.
