Man gets 20 years RI in POSCO case

The POCSO Court on Tuesday (December 02, 2025) awarded 20 years Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) to one V. Vasanth Kumar, 21, who sexually abused a 15-year-old girl under Ajit Singh Nagar police station limits in 2021. The accused took the girl in an auto to an isolated place on July 21, 2021, and committed the crime. Following a complaint, Ajit Singh Nagar police registered a case and arrested the accused. The POCSO Court awarded imprisonment and imposed ₹10,000 fine on the accused.
