Police said Mahesh Kumar, identified as a drug consumer, and seven others got station bail. Officials said notices were issued before they were released on Sunday evening. Police said Rohith Reddy, Mahesh Kumar and four others later tested positive. These results followed further testing, officials added.

EAGLE Force Superintendent of Police R Giridhar told reporters blood tests were taken later. Results confirmed six people, including the MP, tested positive for drugs. Officials said the MP first tested negative in urine testing. The official said the MP then tested positive in the blood test.
During the search, police recovered 0.26 grams of cocaine from one accused. Officials said large quantities of liquor were seized from the farmhouse. Police said the narcotic substance was sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory FSL. Investigators were trying to find the drug source, officials added.

Police said a businessman at the party allegedly fired three rounds into the air. Officials said one round was later fired towards the police team. Based on early findings, police suspected drug influence behind the firing. A.32 calibre revolver, with live and empty cartridges, was seized, officials said.
Police said three people, including Rohith Reddy and the businessman, were arrested later. Officials said sections of the Arms Act were added, along with drug consumption allegations. The trio was produced before a Judicial Magistrate. Police said the court remanded them to judicial custody on Sunday night.
Police said those who tested positive would be referred to certified de-addiction centres. Officials said this was part of a reform approach, with undertakings taken. The probe found some alleged drug abuse happened in Moinabad and also in Goa. Police said the party included realtors, businessmen and politicians, while the inquiry continued.
Officials said the case was registered under the NDPS Act, Arms Act, Telangana State Excise Act and BNS. Police said the raid followed information about a party organised by Rohith Reddy. Investigators said they were checking where the drugs came from. Police also noted Rohith Reddy filed a 2022 complaint about alleged MLA poaching.
