A two-day national seminar, ‘Beyond Words: The Rich Tapestry of Languages andSouth Indian Identities’, is going to take place at Alva’s College (Autonomous), Moodbidri, Dakshina Kannada district, from March 20.
The seminar is being organised by the Department of Studies in Dravidian Culture, Kannada University, Hampi, in association with Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, Mangaluru, and the Department of Kannada, Alva’s College (Autonomous).
D.V. Paramashivamurthy, Vice-Chancellor, Kannada University, Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation, and Madhava Peraje, senior professor, Kannada University,will participate in the inaugural function, according to a release.
