and
stressed
that

Dharma

above

event,
Yogi
Adityanath

three

dates
linked

Ram
Temple.
He
described

August
2020
as
historic,
because
Prime

Modi
laid
the
foundation
stone
of
the
grand
temple
in
Ayodhya
on
that
day,
starting
a
new
chapter
for
the
city.

then
mentioned
22
January
2024,
when
Narendra
Modi
returned
to
Ayodhya
to
lead
the
Pran
Pratishtha
ceremony
for
the
idol
of
Ram
Lalla
at
the
temple
complex.

Adityanath
said

Ayodhya’s
central
place
in
national
life
and
religious

The
Chief
Minister
also
referred
to
Narendra
Modi’s

said
the
programme
delivered
a
clear
message
that
Sanatan
Dharma
remains
above
every
individual
and
political
consideration.

Criticising
earlier
administrations,
Yogi
Adityanath
accused
the
previous
government
of
neglecting
Ayodhya
despite
its
spiritual
importance.
He
argued
that
attempts
to
weaken
the
city’s
status
could
not
succeed,
because
Ayodhya
holds
a
special
place
in
the
beliefs
of
devotees
across
India
and
beyond.

“No
one
is
above
Sanatan
Dharma;
the
previous
government
may
have
tried
to
undermine
Ayodhya,
but
how
can
they
harm
the
place
protected
by
Lord
Hanuman,” he
said.

Yogi

visited
Ayodhya
with

Minister
Rajnath
Singh
for
the
Pran
Pratishtha
second
anniversary
events.
Rajnath
Singh
participated
as
the
chief
‘yajman’
and
hoisted
a
flag
atop
the
Annapurna
temple
during
the
‘Pran
Pratishtha
Dwadashi’
programme
held
within
the
Ram
Temple
premises.

Before
entering
the
Ram
Temple,
Yogi
Adityanath
and
Rajnath
Singh
offered
prayers
at
the
Hanumangarhi
Temple,
one
of
the
main
religious
sites
in
Ayodhya.
The
Pran
Pratishtha
Dwadashi
rituals
began
earlier
in
the
week
and
are
scheduled

consecrated
