Noah Kahan has shared “Porch Light,” the latest single from his upcoming album The Great Divide. Listen below.
The song, which Kahan first debuted live over a year ago at his 2025 Out of the Blue Festival, takes the perspective of his family after he shot to fame on the back of Stick Season. It’s something he previously discussed with Consequence in our cover story Out of the Sticks, Into the Fire, but her he sings from his mother’s perspective: “I hope you tell me that you’re winding down/ That you’ve lost the taste to face the crowd/ That whatever made you famous made you sick.”
The Great Divide is out on April 24th (pre-order here), and was previously previewed with the title track. In addition to his upcoming tour dates, Kahan is gearing up for the release of the Noah Kahan: Out of Body documentary, which will premiere next week at SXSW before heading to Netflix.
