Rowdy sheets should be opened against all BRS leaders: Congress MLA Rajender Reddy

Congress MLA Naini Rajender Reddy has demanded strict action against BRS leaders, alleging that they are resorting to provocation and intimidation of police.

Speaking to the media at the CLP office here on Saturday, Mr. Reddy said that rowdy sheets should be opened against BRS leaders. “The BRS leaders should be put in jail. They are surviving only because of the leniency shown by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy,” the Warangal West MLA said.

Questioning their conduct as public representatives, he asked, “Is it right to threaten authorities? Are you public representatives or rowdies?” He added that the entire political life of BRS leaders revolves around provocation.

Referring to the ongoing phone-tapping investigation, Mr. Reddy said that the ‘big man’ involved would be identified through the probe and slammed the BRS leaders for their “unnecessary hue and cry” over the investigation.

He clarified that the present government had never announced that it would divide districts, alleging that BRS leaders were carrying out a false campaign on district reorganisation.
