Samsung opens pre-orders for Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Buds4, prices start at ₹16,999

Date:

Samsung on Friday announced the start of pre-orders for its Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4 in India, saying the new earbuds are aimed at superior hi-fi and everyday wearability, with deeper AI integration as part of its broader ecosystem push.

In a statement, the South Korean consumer electronics major said the Galaxy Buds4 series pairs sound quality with a computationally designed fit. The company said Buds4 Pro, for the first time, features a wider woofer, alongside enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and an enhanced Adaptive Equaliser (EQ) intended to deliver sound “true to the original recording”.

The company said the Buds4 series introduces a new “Buds blade design”, which it described as a computational design outcome based on millions of global ear data points and more than 10,000 simulations. It said the design is aimed at improved stability and all-day comfort.

According to the maker of the Galaxy lineup, the Buds4 series has an ultra-sleek ergonomic fit, while the “stabilised blade” includes a premium metal finish and an engraved pinch control area designed to help users locate and adjust settings. It also said the earbuds come with a transparent clamshell-type cradle for storage and charging.

Samsung said the two models use different design approaches. It said the Galaxy Buds4 Pro has a canal-fit design aimed at maximum functionality and sound performance, while the Galaxy Buds4 uses an open-fit design for a comfortable, user-friendly listening experience.

On colours, the firm said both models will be available in White and Black with a matte finish. It added that Buds4 Pro will also come in an online-exclusive Pink Gold option.

Detailing hardware changes, the South Korean firm said the Galaxy Buds4 Pro offers a frequency response of 20Hz to 40,000Hz (40kHz), which it said reflects its ability to deliver deep bass and high treble for more detailed, full-bodied sound. It said Buds4 Pro introduces a new wider woofer and that changes to the vibration area and edge design increase the effective speaker area by almost 20 per cent compared with the previous generation.

The company said the woofer, combined with a tweeter, is designed to deliver natural and immersive audio with clean bass and rich treble, supporting 24-bit/96kHz audio. The said the hardware enhancements are meant to reproduce a wide range of sounds, from higher resonant tones to deeper low-end pulses.

It also said the outer microphone is placed on the upper side of the metal finish to maximise ANC while minimising feedback from wind and other external factors.

Galaxy Buds4 series is launching alongside the Galaxy S26 series

On noise control, the and appliances maker said enhanced ANC on the Galaxy Buds4 series is designed to tune out everyday background noise and adapt to changing environments. It cited commuting scenarios such as travel on buses, trains and aeroplanes, saying enhanced ANC reduces low-frequency engine noise while maintaining balanced sound for music, podcasts or calls.

The firm also said the earbuds include Enhanced Adaptive ANC/EQ, which it said minimises noise leakage by analysing wearing conditions and each user’s ear shape. According to the company, the feature makes dynamic frequency adjustments and applies optimal ANC algorithms in real time for peak noise-cancelling performance.

For calls, Samsung said Super Clear Call uses super wideband call technology to double the bandwidth of conventional Bluetooth calls. It said this is intended to keep voices crisp in noisy settings such as busy restaurants and playgrounds.

On AI-led features, the company said users can initiate including Bixby, Google Gemini and Perplexity using voice controls without reaching for their phones. It said Buds4 Pro also includes Head Gesture controls to manage calls and engage with Bixby, allowing users to navigate without distraction or interrupting daily activities.

On availability, Samsung said the Galaxy Buds4 series is launching alongside the Galaxy S26 series. It said the earbuds are available for pre-order in select markets starting Feb 28, with general availability beginning March 11.

The firm announced pricing at ₹22,999 for Galaxy Buds4 Pro in Black, White and Pink Gold and ₹16,999 for Galaxy Buds4 in Black and White, it said.
