Shaun Weiss is lending a helping hand to a fellow child actor.
The Mighty Ducks alum offered to help Tylor Chase after a heartbreaking video showed the Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide actor living on the streets in Riverside, Calif.
“I have received many messages about Tylor Chase,” Shaun, 47, said in a Dec. 22 Instagram video. “I reached out to some friends of mine, and we have a bed for him at a detox. We have a place for him to go and get long term treatment, thanks to my buddy Mike Jordan at Eleven 11 Recovery. All we need to do is find him. I’m not in Los Angeles or I would go look for him myself.”
The D2 star—who also struggled with being unhoused amid his road to sobriety over the last decade—then pleaded for those who have seen Tylor, 36, to contact him “so we can get him some help in time for the holiday.”
