she’s green Release New Song “Mettle”: Listen

Date:

Moss music pioneers she’s green have returned. Last year the Minneapolis quintet dropped their very promising EP Chrysalis, and now they’ve returned with a new single “Mettle.” It comes alongside a video directed by Jaxon Whittington.

“It’s not over yet/ It’s not over now,” Zofia Smith hauntingly sings at the beginning of the new song. Is she warning us? Pleading? Maybe a bit of both. “Mettle” then bursts into an avalanche of gritty guitars and drums slashes.

Smith shared about the song: “‘mettle’ channels the frustration and discomfort that stem from what often feels like constant bad news, while also being an anthem of resilience and the courage to take action and bring about positive change.”

Watch the video for “mettle” below.
