Stalin to lay foundation for Mini TIDEL Parks in Erode, Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar districts on February 26

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will lay the foundation for construction of Mini TIDEL Parks in Erode, Tirunelveli, and Virudhunagar districts on Thursday (February 26). These TIDEL Neo Parks are to be constructed at a total cost of  ₹117.65 crore.

While the TIDEL Neo Park at Reddiyarpatti in Palayamkottai taluk of Tirunelveli district would be constructed at a cost of  ₹39.06 crore, the one in Kooraikoondu in Virudhunagar taluk and the one in Gangapuram in Erode taluk would be constructed a cost of  ₹38.72 crore and  ₹39.87 crore, respectively.

Following the success of TIDEL Park, the Tamil Nadu government decided to set up Mini IT Parks by an SPV – TIDEL Neo in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in the State. These parks offer space of about 60,000 sq.ft. and are designed to foster growth, support startups, and create jobs for around 600 IT professionals in each location.

The Chief Minister had inaugurated Mini TIDEL Parks in Villupuram, Thanjavur, Salem, Thoothukudi, Tiruppur, Vellore and Karaikudi. Foundation had been laid for the construction of Mini TIDEL Parks in Tiruvannamalai and Namakkal districts and works were on, an official release said.

On Wednesday, the CM laid the foundation for a Mini TIDEL Park in Nagercoil in Kanniyakumari district. Announcements had also been made for setting up Mini TIDEL Parks in Nagapattinam, Karur and Pudukkottai districts, it said.
