TBWA Alum Launch AI-Native Shop with Hitachi as Founding Client

Date:

Two longtime Omnicom executives will leave the holding company this week and launch an AI-native creative and strategy shop, they told ADWEEK.

The firm, JK—named for founders James Sparano and Kevin O’Sullivan, with a subtle “just kidding” wink—begins Feb. 19. It is built to compress months-long planning cycles into days.

JK launches with Hitachi as a global founding client, supporting creative across more than a dozen markets including North America, Germany, India and the U.K., though O’Sullivan stopped short of saying it is a traditional agency-of-record relationship.

Lean and self-funded

O’Sullivan and Sparano, who each spent roughly a decade within the Omnicom network, most recently as executive business directors at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, have self-funded their new agency.
