TCS and Infosys Lead as Indian IT Firms Dominate Global Brand Value Rankings

India’s IT giants, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys, continue to lead globally, ranking as the second and third most valuable IT services brands. This is according to Brand Finance’s ‘IT Services 25 2026’ report. Both India and the US have eight companies each in the top 25 list. Accenture remains the world’s most valuable IT services brand, valued at USD 42.2 billion.

TCS has maintained its position as the second most valuable IT services brand for five consecutive years, with a brand value of USD 21.2 billion in 2026. Infosys follows closely with a brand value of USD 16.4 billion and is recognised as the fastest-growing IT services brand over the past six years, boasting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15 per cent.

Brand Strength and Market Presence

TCS excels in several key areas, scoring highly for admiration and reliability. This highlights its reputation as a trusted partner. The company also performs well in market consideration and recommendation, reflecting its relevance and ability to maintain long-term client trust.

Infosys has a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 86.8 out of 100, making it the third strongest IT services brand globally. Its enhanced brand strength is attributed to increased familiarity and improvements in brand consideration, preference, price acceptance, and recommendation.

Other Indian Firms in Global Rankings

HCLTech and Wipro are also among the top 10 IT services brands, while Tech Mahindra holds the 12th spot. Other Indian companies like LTIMindtree, Persistent Systems, and Hexaware Technologies are featured in the list as well.

The total brand value of the world’s top 25 IT services brands reached USD 167.2 billion in 2026. The list includes global names such as IBM Consulting, Capgemini, NTT Data, Cognizant, EPAM, and Genpact.

The report underscores India’s significant presence in the global IT sector alongside the US. This highlights the competitive landscape where both nations contribute equally to the top tier of IT service providers worldwide.
