The Telangana government has invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for the upcoming Hyderabad Global Summit.

Telangana Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy met Mr. Naidu at his camp office in Amaravati on Friday and extended him an invitation to attend the ‘Telangana Rising Global Summit-2025’, scheduled to be organised in Hyderabad on December 8 and 9.

Mr. Venkata Reddy informed Mr. Naidu that the summit, modelled on the World Economic Forum in Davos, would bring together global and domestic industrialists, trade leaders, and experts to discuss economic growth, industrial development, and trade opportunities. He said the event aimed at providing a platform for discussions on economic growth, industrial development, and trade opportunities.

Later, speaking to the media, Mr. Venkata Reddy said, “I am here to invite Chief Miniter N. Chandrababu for the summit. Both States should continue to maintain strong ties, and the friendship between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana must endure. Mr. Naidu’s Vision-2020 serves as a model of development, and Hyderabad exemplifies this vision.”

The Telangana Minister highlighted Hyderabad’s rise as a futuristic capital and India’s second-largest IT hub, with over five lakh professionals employed in its high-tech clusters. He also noted the soaring land values in areas such as Kokapet, now reportedly exceeding ₹100 crore, and emphasised Telangana’s initiatives to develop future-ready cities and institutions, including a Skill University to prepare engineering graduates with practical industry skills.

The meeting between the two leaders is being viewed as a positive step toward fostering collaboration and strengthening inter-State relations in sectors like technology, infrastructure, and education.
