She’s back with “START OVER,” a bouncy piece of glitch pop circling the drain of a crush-induced crash out. I’m consistently impressed by Day’s production, which is riddled with little flourishes and surprising rhythmic details. There’s also a lyrical and vocal immediacy to Day’s performance that cuts through and creates a new sense of gravity.
