Today Keeps Lead for 6 Weeks

Date:

NBC News’ Today has made it six consecutive weeks as the top morning show in the country in both total viewers and the Adults 25-54 demo for the week of February 23.

With the conclusion of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics the prior weekend, NBC News’ first-place lead is getting smaller, with only 93,000 viewers separating it from ABC News’ Good Morning America.

Meanwhile, the George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts, and Michael Strahan-led program finished the final week of February as the only morning show to post gains in both measured categories.

NOTE: CBS Mornings and Today were retitled on Monday (02/23/26) to CBS Morn and Today TS. These retitled telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. CBS and NBC’s weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday).
