The

the
daughter

a

Army
major,
was
taken
using
falsified
documents.
The
daughter,

schizophrenia,
had
been
residing
in
a
rehabilitation
centre
for
years,
which
the
suspects
exploited.

Two
men
were
arrested
in
Lucknow
for
attempting
to
take
possession
of
a

Police

the
property
to
its
rightful
owner.

Following
the
arrests,
law
enforcement
promptly
returned
the
Indira
Nagar
property
to
its
rightful
owner
within
a
day.
Anjana,
the
daughter
of
the
late
Major
Bipin
Chandra
Bhatt,
had
previously
discussed
the
issue
with
Chief
Minister
Yogi
Adityanath.
This
meeting
prompted
swift
action
from
the
authorities.

Property
Seizure
Using
Forged
Documents

Chandauli
Superintendent
of
Police
Aditya
Langhe
explained
that
a
senior
officer
from
Lucknow
contacted
him
about
the
case.
Consequently,
Saiyadraja
police
station
was
instructed
to
act.
As
a
result,
Balwant
Kumar
Yadav
from
Narayanpur
and
Manoj
Kumar
Yadav
from
Daudpur
were
apprehended.

Major
Bhatt,
who
served
in
the
Indian
Army,
owned
the
Indira
Nagar
house
until
his
death
in
1994.
Afterward,
his
son
and
another
daughter
also
passed
away,
leaving
Anjana
as
the
sole
heir.
Her
mental
health
condition
led
her
to
live
in
a
rehabilitation
centre
for
several
years.

Legal
Action
Against
Accused

The
accused
allegedly
forged
documents
to
transfer
ownership
of
the
property
to
themselves.
They
even
placed
a
board
at
the
house
to
assert
their
claim.
Legal
proceedings
have
been
initiated
against
them
for
attempting
to
acquire
property
through
fraudulent
means.

The
police
confirmed
that
both
suspects
were
arrested
on
Thursday.
Investigations
are
ongoing
to
uncover
further
details
about
this
case.
The
swift
restoration
of
the
property
highlights
effective
law
enforcement
efforts
in
addressing
such
fraudulent
activities.
