Ustaad Bhagat Singh Movie Review: What’s Good, What’s Bad In Pawan Kalyan’s Film?

Andhra Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh will hit the screens on Thursday, March 19. The movie has Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna playing the female lead.

R Parthiban, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, Rajeev Kanakala, BS Avinash, Posani Krishna Murali, Gautami and others are in the cast. The movie has Devi Sri Prasad’s songs and S Thaman’s background score.

The movie has Karthika Srinivas’ editing and Ayananka Bose’s cinematography.

Named after a legend and raised on the principles of honor, a boy from the heart of the forest grows into a man of unshakeable conviction. When evil forces threaten his world, he doesn’t back down. Despite the staggering odds, he chooses to fight, honoring the name he was given and the morals he was taught.

The movie has managed to generate a lot of buzz with its promos. However, it is clashing with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2.

Venky Reviews: #UstaadBhagatSingh A Completely Outdated Commercial Entertainer!

A commercial film like this doesn’t necessarily need out of the box writing, but it atleast needs some freshness. This one feels outdated to the core from the start to end. A few elevation blocks work, but the film lacks flow, feeling like a stitched together compilation of commercial scenes.

Harish Shankar falters on both comedy and commercial writing. Thaman tries to elevate with his BGM but has little scope. PK tries in parts, but this one misses his trademark energy.

Boring!

Rating: 2/5

Interval is somewhat better so far, but the rest is in full outdated mode. Comedy doesn’t land, and the rest of the commercial elements feel at least a decade old.
