“BIMARU” image
and
emerged
as
a
“breakthrough”
state
with
a
new
identity.
He
remarked
that
caste-driven
and
dynastic
political
forces
are
unable
to
accept
this
transformation,
alleging
that
such
groups
had
previously
patronized
unrest
and
disorder.

was
addressing
a
public
gathering
after
inaugurating
the
Khajanchi
Chauraha
flyover
in
Gorakhpur,
built
at
a
cost
of
₹96.50
crore,
and
the
Bargadwa–Nakaha
Rail
Over
Bridge,
constructed
at
a
cost
of
₹152.19
crore.
He
first
unveiled
the
plaque
and
opened
the
flyover
to
the
public,
and
later
dedicated
the
rail
over
bridge
at
Bargadwa–Nakaha.

Speaking
on
the
occasion,
the
Chief
Minister
said
Uttar
Pradesh
has
transformed
from
a
“state
of
unrest” into
a
“state
of
celebration.”
He
stated
that
strengthened
law
and
order
has
curbed
rioting
and
criminal
activity,
and
that
strict
legal
action
has
been
taken
against
those
involved
in
disturbances.

He
further
alleged
that
elements
who
once
supported
disorder
are
now
unsettled
by
the
state’s
development
trajectory.
According
to
him,
attempts
to
create
instability
are
being
firmly
dealt
with
by
the
government.

Recalling
the
situation
before
2017,
he
said
the
state
had
struggled
with
insecurity,
poor
law
and
order,
and
limited
opportunities,
which
affected
women,
traders
and
youth.
He
added
that
the
current
administration
has
focused
on
long-term
development
and
security
to
ensure
a
better
future
for
coming
generations.

The
Chief
Minister
said
that
improved
security
and
infrastructure
under
the
“double-engine
government” have
encouraged
investment
and
job
creation.
He
cited
large-scale
investment
proposals
and
employment
generation
efforts
as
indicators
of
progress.
Referring
to
Gorakhpur,
he
noted
that
an
industrial
corridor
is
developing
from
GIDA
to
Dhuriyapar,
aimed
at
creating
local
employment
opportunities.

Highlighting
the
city’s
transformation,
he
said
Gorakhpur
is
now
being
identified
with
improved
infrastructure,
healthcare
institutions
and
industrial
development.
He
mentioned
expanded
road
connectivity,
new
expressway
links,
industrial
growth
through
GIDA,
and
major
projects
such
as
AIIMS
and
the
fertilizer
plant.
Ramgarh
Tal,
he
said,
has
been
redeveloped
as
a
major
urban
attraction,
contributing
to
the
city’s
changing
profile.

He
emphasized
that
development
will
not
remain
confined
to
any
one
region
and
said
similar
infrastructure
growth
is
being
pursued
across
eastern,
central
and
western
Uttar
Pradesh,
including
cities
such
as
Lucknow,
Prayagraj,
Ayodhya,
Varanasi,
Mirzapur,
Azamgarh
and
regions
like
Bundelkhand.
Referring
to
large
religious
gatherings
in
Prayagraj,
he
said
improved
facilities
and
security
arrangements
have
enabled
significantly
higher
participation
in
recent
events
compared
to
previous
years.

Member
of
Parliament
Ravi
Kishan
Shukla
also
addressed
the
gathering
and
said
that
the
state
and
central
governments
are
working
together
on
development
and
welfare
initiatives.
Gorakhpur
Mayor
Dr.
Manglesh
Srivastava
welcomed
the
Chief
Minister
and
highlighted
civic
development
initiatives
in
the
city.
Several
public
representatives
and
officials
were
present
at
the
event,
including
Cabinet
Minister
Sanjay
Nishad,
MLAs
and
local
leaders.
