Pradesh

the
coming
years.

approved

flyovers

Dalpatpur

Dhaneta
along
with
a
six-lane
upgrade
on
the
Moradabad-Bareilly
stretch,
aimed
at
reducing
congestion
and
improving
safety
on
the
Delhi-Lucknow
highway
network.The

Highways
Authority
of
India
(NHAI)
is
set
to
build
the
flyovers
and
widen
the
Moradabad-Bareilly
highway
following
the
ministry’s
approval
and
funding
release
which
includes
Rs
94
crore
for
the
flyovers.
The
ministry
has
already
approved
the
detailed
project
report
for
widening
the
Moradabad-Bareilly
highway
to
six
lanes,
matching
the
existing
six-lane
section
between
Moradabad
and
Delhi.
Once
work
finishes,
drivers
will
be
able
to
use
a
six-lane
corridor
from
Delhi
to
Lucknow,
which
officials
say
should
improve
average
speeds
and
travel
reliability.

the
widening
plan,
two
flyovers
will
come
up
at
Dalpatpur
and
Dhaneta
on

Moradabad-Bareilly

Data
from
recent
years

crashes
had
been
reported
there,
prompting
demands
for
grade-separated
crossings
to
handle
local
traffic
and
highway
vehicles
more
safely.
The
National
Highways
Authority
of
India
will
build
both
flyovers
as
six-lane
structures,
aligned
with
the
wider
corridor
design.
According
to
project
details,
the
construction
of
these
two
structures
is
targeted
for
completion
within
two
years.

stands
at
Rs

crore,
funded
under
ministry
approvals
issued
in
the
new

timelines
and

The
Moradabad-Bareilly
six-lane
project
will
move
in
stages.
Land
acquisition
comes
first,
followed
by
tendering
and
physical
construction.
Officials
state
that
the
ministry
has
agreed
to
the
proposed
cost,
layout,
timeline
and
user
facilities
for
the
larger
corridor
up
to
Lucknow,
allowing
planning
teams
to
proceed
with
detailed
scheduling
and
coordination.
NHAI
Project
Director
Arvind
Kumar
said
that
the
ministry
has
approved
three
major
works
in
the
new
year.
Funds
have
been
released
for
the
construction
of
flyovers
at
Dalpatpur
and
Dhaneta.
Meanwhile,
the
Detailed
Project
Report
(DPR)
for
widening
the
Moradabad–Bareilly
highway
to
six
lanes
has
also
been
approved.
The
ministry’s
clearances
close
a
delay
that
began
when
the
proposal
remained
pending
from
the
early
days
of
2025.
With
funding
released
for
Dalpatpur
and
Dhaneta,
and
approval
granted
for
the
six-lane
design,
agencies
now
have
a
defined
roadmap
to
upgrade
the
Moradabad-Bareilly
link
and
strengthen
the
wider
Delhi-Lucknow
highway
network.
